Generate! The Zine

Generate! The Zine was started in February 2021 as a way to connect Reno/Sparks artists during Covid-19 quarantine. The first edition of the zine was specifically made for the 2021 Reno Punk Rock Flea Market, which was hosted at The Generator for the five years. We had such a great time collaborating and making art together in this platform that we decided to make it a quarterly thing. Thus far there have four editions of the Zine!

Each quarter we did a call for art and all were welcome to submit their work. Our program assistant and zine editor Ray Frost compiled all of the offerings into the zine and then we translate it into Spanish so it’s a bilingual zine.
We print locally at Sindex and then hosted free zine release party at various locations around Reno/Sparks.
