Join The Generator for a glimpse of the most exciting time of year for our community makerspace at 2450 Oddie Boulevard, Sparks, Nevada for Playa Art Preview. Enjoy an evening of artist presentations and learn all about the creation of these monumental sculptures. Connect with your community over drinks, dinner, and live music while you peruse our gorgeous raffle items provided by local artists and businesses, including two tickets and a vehicle pass to the 2026 Burning Man event!
During the months of May to August, our non-profit is home to a multitude of large scale sculptures made by local and international artists. Our annual Playa Art Preview is your chance to see the projects before they hit Black Rock City. Art projects like these are staples of the Generator Community; they continue to inspire us daily. This event is your opportunity to join us in celebrating the work and passion these artists bring to our space.
The Generator is a community makerspace that provides an encouraging and collaborative space for over 300 members and 50 studio artists to make art, build up their small businesses, and indulge in their creative hobbies year round, with memberships starting at only $25 a month. By attending this event you are directly supporting our local 501(c)3 non-profit makerspace. If you believe in what we do and want to help us keep the magic flowing and the tools maintained, please consider purchasing a ticket, personally sponsoring, or having your business sponsor our event!
General Admission is $60 per person.
For our VIP supporters the festivities start an hour early. VIP guests will enjoy a complimentary cocktail, hors d'oeuvres, and a live aerial performance before the event while socializing with the artists. VIP tickets start at $125.
In order to reserve seating we offer tables for purchase for up to 10 people. Tables are available starting at $750 for a General Admission Table and $1,250 for a VIP Table.
We have four categories of monetary sponsorships ranging from $500 to $10,000, and options for in-kind donations based on services or rentals you may want to provide. Every little bit helps us continue our work of providing affordable conduits for adults and children to make art and gain new, practical skills.
